Poem By Mac

Civil War

Blood is smeared
And all are scared,
The war is lasting as we feared
We survive because we have spared
The ones that have always cheered
We must stay and fight for them
You are all a precious gem
Our country is our most precious treasure
So we fight in the most desperate measure
Some may yell and some will cry
for another chance, one last try

It is all over
and most are gone
All we needed was a three leaf clover
We all sang our favorite song
Even though most are starved
And some were carved
We all know what we stand
So let out a desperate hand

Please Help Us!!

When we do the blog, we get inspiration from YOU! We haven't gotten Wuzzles, Wuzzle answers, poems, facts, websites, etc. So remember that everyone is a part of the blog committee and you can contribute to it! THANKS! And don't forget the fun website www.coolmath-games.com/

We've Almost Won!

As you all know, we are doing the Civil War unit in the class! Even though we are going off track, we will have a lot of fun! We still have to do the Obstacle Course, Capture The Flag, and the Civil War Bowl. So good luck and keep studying!

Hello Mrs.Simi's fifth grade class. We are proudly to pronounce the generals and luitenants and privates of the union and confederate army: Generals are Cambria McAfee, and Mac Fackrell. Luitenants are Jaden Hones, Pete Fackrell, Genevieve Coburn, Tara Hill, and Kirk Abbe. The people I did not announce are all privates. Some of them will graduate to a higher rank!

Good Job, Leaders!!

We just had our Leader In Me assembly and it was fun! We had some good teachers from all over the country who came to learn about the Leader In Me Program. A lot of students had great speeches, and Sarah rocked the violin! You all are leaders, and there is more to come from us kids.

Leader In Me

A lot of students, such as Madison, Hannah, and Maia (I know there are more) have been great

leaders, and they have to give a speech. They have worked hard and are dedicated to being

everlasting, encouraging leaders. Thank you for your leadership and support. All of you leaders

and students are the reason Mrs. Simi's class is the best of them all! If you have any suggestions on

how to be a better leader, tell a friend. And remember to leave a sentence outside the gym doors like

Madison said!

Student Of The Week

The Student Of The Week for the Spring Break week was... Cambria McAffe! She always puts others first, and is a great leader. She is always Proactive, and solves problems with kind and gentle words. Way to go, Cambria!

Wuzzle Requests And Posts

Lately, you all have wanted your Wuzzles on the whiteboard. If you have suggestions, write it on a piece of paper and turn it into Hannah or Mac and we will post it. Then, write your answer on a piece of scratch paper, and we will check it. At final recess, meet outside the lunchroom doors and Mac will tell you if you got it right. Thank you Eastlake 5th grade Dragons!

Kentucky Strikes Again!

About a week ago, Kentucky pulled of a spectacular win over Kansas. It was definitely a game to watch because it was the finals (which is their championship). Anthony Davis is Kentucky's best player on their team averaging 3.2 blocks a game this season. He decided he wanted to go pro after his freshman year was over because he is one of the most dominate player in the game. It was definitely a thriller for Kentucky fans to watch!
